Welcome

Welcome to our House, known here in the village as la Fonda Aisa. Hostal Aisa is a small, hospitable hostal located in a square right in the centre of the village. Ansó gives its name to one of the jewels of the Pyrenees - the Ansó Valley.

Brother and sister José Manuel and Laura are the fifth generation of our family to run the Hostal Aisa which has welcomed visitors for over 100 years. Our mission is to continue our ancestor´s long tradition of hospitality.

We have all the facilities and services to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Hostal Aisa has Wifi for your use throughout the building.

We are right on the Ruta Transpirineica – (the Transpyrenean Route) so our Hostal is a perfect place to relax after a hard day´s travelling. We have a garage for safely storing your bicycles and motorbikes.

If you enjoy peace and quiet, excursions, mountains, forests, rivers, wildlife, flora and local gastronomy then the Ansó Valleyis the perfect place for you. We know the valley like the back of our hands so we can make many suggestions to help you enjoy your stay to the maximum.

One excellent reason for visiting our valley is to enjoy the Dia del Traje Tipico Ansotano (The Traditional Costume Festival) on the last Sunday in August. For the festival the villagers travel back in time and dress in the unique and exquisite costumes worn here habitually until the mid 20thCentury. These beautiful clothes are still a great source of pride to the Ansotanos and are a fascinating piece of Pyrenean culture and anthropology. If you can´t make it for the festival you can visit Ansó´s Traditional costume museum at any time of year.
